My name is Cheryl and I am the creator of this site. In 2001 I became a corneal transplant recipient. Since then I have been an advocate for organ and tissue donation. Sad that it took this life changing experience to open my eyes (no pun intended..lol) to the importance of being a donor.

A significant problem is that there are many who choose to believe misconceptions of organ and tissue donation and base their refusal to become donors on false information.

PLEASE educate yourself before making this most important decision. Someone's life or quality of life is depending on it. And one day it may possibly be your own or that of someone you love.
